Scenery

The „Lebuser Land“ is not only a plateau stemming from the glacial period, but also an ancient cultural landscape. The northeastern part of the district is part of the Pomeranian Lake District.

Most of the lakes are of glacial origin and are embedded within moraine hills. The lake district is a lot like the Masurian Lake District and the Holsteinische Schweiz. Not as well-known as the Masurian Lake District, the Pomeranian Lake District is a natural region with little tourism.

Characterised by its 14 lakes and large areas of woodland, Djugie and its surrounding area is one of the highlights of this region.
